Dear Experts,
If A gives false affidavit that he sold out his property and incurred a interest free loan to B. But the fact the said property was never sold out by A. A has given false affidavit. Can A prosecuted in court of law and what sections are applicable on him.

if this affidavit has been file before court then section 340 of Crpc will be applicable & the person can be prosecuted.

sir, will the affidavit with wrong address also fall under the preview of 340 IPC, in a criminal complaint under sec 138 of N I Act?, please advise
