Need advice

There is a old Society of Bungalows in Pune.  Initially each bungalow / plot owners were single owners.  Now the families of each member have grown up and having adult children.  In some cases the parents have expired and thir children want to own the property in thier joint names.  However, Society is objecting to this and saying that there should be a single member for each bungalow / plot and is not allowing to register joint ownership.

In the circumstances kindly advise whether the Society's stand is correct or not ?

If not, what is the remedy for making joint ownership ?

Pl. advise.

Regards.

Society is wrong because after the death of the owners immediately succession opens. According to succession all the successors of the deceased have got right over the property.
