Maintenance for my wife living happily with me

DEAR SIR,

i am a engineer in PSU working from last 17 years, I married during june 2003 after which i constructed a house during 2004-05 on a flat purchased by me before my marriage(2002) with a loan from nationalised bank (10lakhs) and my personal savings, Since I refused to take any dowry from my wife they helped around 5 to 6 lakhs volunteerly. Now after my marriage we are child less and i found that my wife is suffering from HYPOTHERMEA before marriage because of which she doesnot possess ovum and her endometrial layer thickness is very less and uterus is very small and cannot afford a child upto 5months also. after four to five IVF attempts fail my wife started refused to hav children or even to adopt a girl child as her health was bad her parents also not suggested this. but now she had filed a false case against me saying I am not looking after her, I am having married with another girl and I am abusing as "barren" so...on. she is asking for Rs.20,000 as maintenance from me and she wants to live with me. my parents are not living with me.

my questions ot forum is

1. being told false things about her as I am only son to my old age parents who are not living with me is it not a crime on me from her side.

2. Is it correct that eventhough living happily with me asking for maintenance of such a big amount eventhough she is issue less.

3. what action I can take against her for filing a false case against me after 10 years of marriage

All accusations need to be proved in the court of law, mere stating allegations will only remain so.

Living together and asking for maintenance? She wont get any maintenance.

3. what action I can take against her for filing a false case against me after 10 years of marriage

You cannot take any action against her. You have also not mentioned what kind of case she has filed against you.

It appears to me that the female wants to sacrifice her life as she could not give you children out of the wedlock, and wants you to divorce her, and look for someone else.

Here try asking her if this is true.

In such case, such people are very rare to find these days.

Convince her for adoption or go for surrogate mother.
