THE TAMIL NADU CATERING ESTABLISHMENTS ACT, 1958
Restaurant is comes under the TN shops and Establishments Act, hence under this Act regulates the conditions of work in Catering Establishments you to be maintain the following forms/records

1. Registration of establishment
2. Maintenance of register of advance
3.Maintenance of wage register
4.Name Board of the Establishment
5.Furnishing of Returns
6.Register of Fines
7.All wage slips issued to all employees.
8. Leave policy
9.Display of Form S - Notice of Holiday
10.Preservation of registers, records and notices

This Act provides for weekly holidays, periods of work, leave with wages, overtime wages, etc., in respect of those employed in Catering Establishments.
