Land sale in india by british citizen of india decent.

I am a British citizen, who was born in India and do not have an OCI number.

There is ancestral land which my mother (deceased) owned a percentage share, family trying to sell this land but would need my agreement to sell it.

I have sent a notarised power of attorney giving my uncle power to my agreement to sell the land.

The authorities are not satisfied with the notarised power of attorney, photographs and thumb prints.

Can you tell me what else is required from me to the Indian authorities to show that I am happy for the sale to go ahead without my presence in India?

In the event the sale is successful, how can I legally bring my share of the money into the UK.

regards

Sanjit
