Issues with dell india`

hi,

 
above laptop was purchased in 2011 (can check through service tag), worked perfectly 4 to 5 months and then eventually replaced by dell (to this new tagged number), from September 2012 i had it badly with this machine too, each time the service man would come and operate the machine, first time service man brought dead screen, second time screen size did not match, third time speakers and screen stopped working, fourth time service man came up with a broken screen (i have all documentary proof for such service). This was despite being signing 5 years extended warranty with dell.
 
Meantime, almost all the side locks of this machine were broken, i requested then for a replace which i was approved and later refused, why ? 
 
i was even offered, 75%  refund or a refurbished machine which i denied as this did not solve my problem.
 
eventually, in month of September 2013 the service man took the machine back to service center and sent me a report that machine was perfect. i was assured that all the faulty parts have been replaced and finally this machine was delivered to me on 30/10/2013 through a courier service, to which when i opened i found that the screen was totally damaged and the other parts seemed as not replaced (i can mail you all the photographs that i had taken before and after the repairs).
 
now the machine is completely damaged and i can not operate it.
 
by writing this letter to you i mean to say that from 2011 till 2013 October i suffered a lot and lost my most of business for which this machine was being used. where did i make a mistake in purchasing this machine, i think i invited trouble by signing extended 5 years warranty also.
 
the financial loss that occurred to me due to negligence of your people who deal with service (probably they are not educated enough), how will this loss be covered and who should be claimed for? please advice me.
 
i have almost made up mind to look for lawful action against dell through consumer courts as neither i have received a proper answer from service people nor service replies.
 
to prove my part i have all the cctv footages, emails, voice recordings, documents etc that your service people (Mr Raj K Jha and Mr Varun Tripathi particularly) communicated with me.
 
i am sorry that i shall be waiting for next three days for your reply otherwise i shall be going to the legal action as deemed along with the financial compensation that i faced in 2 years time.
 
im facing all the problems since months , please help me what should i do , im a businessman and im travelling for 3 weeks in a month and have been suffering . please advise .

 ****You can find the service tag at the bottom of the laptop on white sticker, it’s a seven digit alphanumeric code which ends with BS or number 1.

It is good that you have meticulously maintained the sequence of events and posted the facts.

 

 

 

 

 

It is highly unfortunate that MNC that make big claims to allure the customers leave them later to lurch and suffer loss, harassment, mental tension……………….

 

The company should have on its own agreed to replace the whole system free of cost with full guarantee/warranty……………….and should have compensated you sufficiently as per its internal compensation policy, without any tantrums.

Hi shuchi !

happy new year 

After what all I have been facing because of dell I don't think keeping anything confidential will be in my favour .

its an Alienware M14X which I bought for 80k and with an additional warranty for 5 years for 20 k , I never imagined I will have to suffer after spending a lakh over this laptop.
