Gift Deed

A residential unit is given under a gift deed by husband to wife and 2 daughters (one adult, other minor) in divorce settlement.

Can the daughters give up their share in favour of their mother through another gift deed immediately? If yes, then how?

Your problem does not state the age of the children. If they attained the age of 18 they can otherwise they cannot.

Thanks for the reply.

I did state that one was an adult (just over 18) and the other a minor (about 14).

Now I would like to know what can and cannot be done.

u done it but for that u go to court and court pass a order thenafter Minor name property transfer u by gift deed.
