Fundamental legal rights of an employee during probation

During probation period employee and employer, both has right to dislike each other and seperate.

However this seperation may not be smooth as one of the sides may not be opting seperation.

What are the fundamental legal rights of an employee during probation period especially for resigning?

Suppose there is an written agreement between employee and employer for specific period of employement with penalties involved for breaking agreement. If an employee decides to leave during probation then does he have to pay these penalties???

Fundametal right to legal remedies is alaways there.  It is not clear what elese do you mean.
