fee refund from Amity university gwalior

I took admission in Amity university gwalior and join the college on 17 august 2015 but due to some reason I leave the university and withdrawal on 26 august 2015, on January 2016 the university told to not to refund hostel and tution fees now,what should I do.they told that seat remained vacant and not filled.But my friend told that the hostel seat is acquired by another student in two days of my withdrawal.
