Eviction (no agreement)

Sir,

i am planning to evict a tenant residing in my property for 15 years(commercial complex); no issues with him so far.

Reason for Eviction: i am planning to re-purpose the building.

can you please guide me on how to proceed further.

how should i give the notice and what is the notice period i should give him( like 6- 8 months).

how should i proceed further.

please advice.

First, orally ask him to vacate your premises within 3 to 4 months, as you want to use the said premises for your personal use. If not,  send a legal notice, asking him to vacate accordingly;

Baala Sir,

Thanks for your response

after sending legal notice; what are his chances that he can go to court.

is there any way that he can get stay on this matter(if so how should i encounter..

what ever initial notice you suggested(i.e 3 or 4 months); how should i give that orally or i need to give register post( just to ensure that the communication is recorded; so that he has no chance that i did not communicate to him earlier).

what are other legal issues i need to be aware of before giving him; eviction notice.

thanks,
