Harassment by neighbor

Hello Sirs.

We are living in Bangalore and have an extremely problematic neighbor. Though we live in Bangalore, we have a terrible issue wrt garbage collection. Our area, which falls under panchayat limits has no formal way of collecting garbage. So, people throw garbage at their wish.

we have an extremely problematic neighbor (Female, aged around 50), who keeps fighting with all people in layout. People are scared of her for the following reasons.

1. She has connections with an MP belonging to ruling party BJP

2. All people are mostly migrants, who are here for software jobs and cannot approach police or go around courts

3. The lady has no hesitation to file false cases on people so that people have to go around police stations.

Now, this lady started throwing garbage exactly in front of our house and warned us that she will keep doing.

This is an absolute nuisance to us and we donot know what to do. we have an evidence of CCTV of her warning us and throwing garbage in front of our house.

we cannot change our house as it is our own house.

we cannot file a case on her, as she is a lady with political connections.

She has all the time in this world to go to police stations, but we have to fight every day for our jobs. Software jobs looks lucritive, but are so difficult to get along and have our own tensions.

Sir, please advise us what to do. This is an absolute violation of human rights.

1.  AS YET,  there is no Indian law, to counter your FEAR factor.

2.  You can file a private complaint before the local magistrates court, against the lady for harassment, intimidation, breach of trust, public nuisance, supported by proper documentary evidence (CCTV footage) and willing witnesses.

"We cannot file a case on her, as she is a lady with political connections". This is a strange assumption. No one can help you if you suscribe to such fanciful assumptions.

Take photographs and send to Bangalore Mirror. The BJP government may fall shortly.
