(1) Its a well understood fact that disputes happen in married life and at the same time name calling, doubting on character, shouting comes under DV act. My qustion is that can husband be convicted if wife somehow proves (through video recording) that husband once shouted on her and put allegations on her character (with no life threats, abusive language or dirty words). Can he be convicted with above if he is able to show various lovy-dovy emails exchanged between husband-wife and try to prove that this was the only (or let say 2-3 incidence) incidence when such things happens and he has valid reasons to doubt but otherwise husband was very caring and always had good relation with wife?
(2) SHould husband stick to truth that yes few such fight has happened and he shouted but otherwise she also always appreciated her caring nature or should lie that except this video he never has any argument with wife?
(2) DV is dangerous act as its definition is very broad but what is a conviction rate and time frame of such cases (with no MLC or physical hurt)?? These urban wives cant even stand few reasonable arguments :-( and run to file DV :-/. Sometimes I feel that awareness is a curse :-|
