Cibil current account balance disclosed.

Dear Sirs, I have opened a current account from a old private sector bank at my home town, Due to non maintenance of  minimum balance the current account is presently in debit balance. After making an enquiry at my home branch they replied that “they have sanctioned temporary overdraft to my current account” .

I m sure that I had never requested the bank to favour a temporary overdraft facility to my current account or else they never intimated me by regd post or any means of sanctioning temporary overdraft facility to my current account.

On checking my CIBIL report the above current account no: flagged in Days Past Due, which affect my cibil score. Due to my low cibil score my loan has been rejected by a Nationalised bank and then I have reported to the concerned branch manager (formal letter ) of false entry in my cibil report.

As per RBI norms temporary overdraft facility should not be considered as credit facility.

After passing two months I didn’t get any reply from the Bank Manger.

I have raised a dispute at CIBIL and received acknowledged from the cibil.

As per Cibil norms saving or current account balance should not be disclosed.

My queries are :

1)    Should I have to approach nodal officer or banking omdusman

2)    Or should I file suit against the bank for compensation.

3)    How to retrieve my cibil score.

      Dr.Raja.

      Thanks in advance
