Cheque bounce

my friend had borrowed 20000 from me and given me a pdc cheque when i deposited the cheque it was bounced , when i inquired from my bank they are telling me that stop payment of cheque is request by drawer , my friend has cheated me ... so please help me to recover my money

Contact Advocate as immediately as possible and get legal notice issued to him.  Preserve the cheque safely.   Even issuing stop payment without intimation to payee is cheating.
