Buying agriulture land in maharashtra

Have couple of questions on buying agriulture land in maharathra. I dont have any land in my name .

1) my brother has land in his name. Can i use the 7/12 in his name for buying property in my name?

2) i buy property in join names with him? 

3) my mother's brother is a farmer in MP, can i use his farmer status to buy land in maharashtra?
