I'm seeing here many of asking there doubts and I've also a doubt
. if 498a,304b
this case punishment how many years Is going to be done ?
Punishment for an offense under Section 498A, IPC is imprisonment of up to 3 years and fine.
Under Section 304B, IPC, punishment for an offence is imprisonment of at least 7 years and it may extend up to life imprisonment.
So, a person convicted u/s 498A and 304B is going to serve at least 7 years of imprisonment and depending upon the circumstances, he/she may be sentenced for a term upto imprisonment for life.
