Wrong data entry in computer while registring property

I just came across this situation while registration of my new flat in registry office. While entering data in computer from my sale deed they wrongly entered the flat no and khata no. Though details were correct in my sale deed. I asked them to correct it but this time I did not verify. They did not provide me EC because server went down at that time. I was wondering if in case details entered in database are wrong then how can one get it corrected. What's the process ?
