Supplimentary chargesheet

Sir,

I was shown absconding in chargesheet file by police during sept,2004. I was arrested in nov,2004. but police has not filed supplimetary  chargesheet  till today . Now they are saying we no evidance against you. 

what should I do? Is there any timelimit to file supplimentary chargesheet?

Pl. guide me. Thanks

There is no time limit to file supp. charge sheet in a warrant case. If no supp. charge sheet is filed  the trial shall continue on earlier charges.

Thanks, but court is saying supplimentary chargesheet is required for trial.

Is the case of 2004 still pending? What is the nature of offence, is the trial going on regularly, if the police are lethargic in conducing the trial, you may speak about the inordinate delay in the open court and their wilfull intentions to drag on the case without sufficient cause.

Pl. clarify the details of the case. It appears from your query that chargesheet has not been filed  at all. Suppl. chargesheet is filed only when the prosecution wants to allege add. charges.
