Stamp paper

Dear Sir/ma'am,

I have lended an amount of 3 lacs to one of my knowns in Aug 2014 and have got a 50 Rs. stamp paper signed from her to ensure the return of the money. However, after a certain period of time she stopped sending me the installments. I need to confirm if that stamp paper is still valid and could I go ahead to lodge a legal complaint against her?

I hope, you are asking about the language and not the content of the stamp paper. Am I Right?

You can file case for breach of contract under I.P.C. for recovery of your money. AN AGREEMENT ONCE WRITTEN ON STAMP PAPER, THAT STAMP CAN'T BE EXPIRED subject to matter written on such stamp paper.
