Signature on blank stamp paper

Hi,

I have lended some money to my relative some time before, after taking a signature on blank E-Stamp paper(as Security), and i have given him the photo copy of the same.

Is it legally wrong to do this. Please suggest.

Regards,

Sudhi.

If tomorrow u prove that document in court, it wudnt be appreciated ...if a person signs on a paper, he should be legally aware of the contents of document else he can make out a difft situation of fruad or deny document existence etc...no. of options exist which can be misused or denied by both sides.
