Compensation for the delay by ssc

Compensation for the Delay By SSC I want to ask whether a person got selected in the year 2020 but get joined in 2024 then can that person apply for compensation and seniority benefits as per law . Please suggest

The selected candidates may be recruited as per the terms and conditions specified in the advertisement.  The selected candidates will be posted according to the vacancies and roster points.  However, verify the same and then proceed if any are against the terms and conditions.
