Regarding 498a and section 10 of legal seperation

Resp.

I got married on 12/02/2015.from then onwards Me and wife had arguments on small issues. She lie to me everytime. She sleeps a lot.She does not take care of my house and me.She takes lot of sleeping and anti depressent  pills.Due to this I use to maintain distance from her.On 17/09/2015.She consumed lyzol.I rushed to hospital where my in laws abused me and my wife accused me of domestic violence and humiliated me.Police came and MLC happened. From now onwards police and my inlaws are pressurizing me for compromise.I am very sure the she will do the same thing again.Police called me and threatens me for 498a .Under such circumstance it is not possible to live with her.I gave writtern application to SP office for the threatening of 498A on 18/09/2015. I  am really scared for 498a.I asked to Thane Inspector madam for giving me some time to think.I am in central government job.and I hold a government house.I am planning to file petition for legal seperation under section 10 due to her act of commiting suicide, which she can perform again due to her unsoundness of mind.she perform very different kind of act like...leaving gas stove on, forget turning off cooker, excess of lying on small issue..threating me for suicide....I cannot live with her under such circumstance. I want to take Anticipatory bail & file legal seperation case..I request you all to please suggest me what should i do...for keeping me and my family safe...I have already lost my reputation due to police and my wife behaviour ....I cant live with her.

first of all no need to be wary of 498a.since you are a government servant even if fir is filed on you they got to conduct prelimnary enquiry as to the whether the allegations have any ground.moreover the police have to follow the supreme court guidelines about making arrests in cognizable offences which are punishable by less than seven years of imprisonment.the police cant make mechanical arrests.

take her to a psychiatrist and she needs to be treated for her depression. as a husband if you can be supportive to her during the time of treatment she will recover soon.
