Hello All,
I gave 12000 Rs (one month rent) to the owner of house one month back. At that time the house was almost complete and had 2 months of work left. So i gave him advance saying that i will move in the house after 2 months. Now in between I have decided not to go for it. I asked the owner to return my token amount, but he refused. I even asked him to return atleast 50 percent of it, but he do not want to return a single rupee from it. We did not sign and ducument while i gave him themoney. Since i payed him thriugh account payee cheque so I have the proof that i have the money. I do not know how to go about this, please advice me on this, 12000 is really a big sum for me.
