Query regarding my pf account name

I have a query regarding my pf account name. I am from Hyderabad and I joined in a software firm in the year 2005. My PF name was added as VAMSI KSRIDHARAN. In my pf account name is misspelled as VAMSI K SRIDHARAN. In my pay stubs and in company records my name is VAMSI K SRIDHARA. PF account is with Tamilnadu.

My original name is VAMSI K SRIDHARA(no 'N' in my last name). Even in the offer letter which they have given states my original name as VAMSI K SRIDHARA

I will be quitting from my current company in next month ie jan 2013. If i close my pf account, will this name will be a problem for me when the PF office deposits the amount into my bank account??. In My bank account my name is : Vamsi Krishna Sridhara

Whom should I approach and what all things my Employer need to submit to PF office.

or Do I need to approach bank on this?

Could you please help me to resolve this problem.

Your Employer in writing under proper acknowledgment and ask them to effect the change to correct name.

Hi I have a problem with my PF Account name, i have joined a firm in 2008 and my actual name is SHUABE.M but in PF account & Comapnay records it is mentioned as SHUABE Mohammad.A and i have changed my signature also but i dont remember my old signature I will be quiting the company in march, will it create a problem when i apply for my PF money,

Request you to help me to with a proper solution for my problem

Write to your appointing authority by letter thru redg. post with acknowledgment { followed by scanned copies of your letter and regd. Post receipt by email} with a copy to Head-HR to correct your name in PF, Gratuity, Group Insurance, etc… and also inform you that you are changing your signatures to specimen as given below.

Request the company to confirm that the corrections have been made in records of the company and updated with PF office and others as well. Peruse, follow up and obtain the confirmation from company.

You can obtain copies of PF forms submitted by you bearing your old signature from HR.
