This is to bring to your kind notice that grave injustice has been done to the public at large(Thousands of students).
We applied for appointment to the post of Assistant Engineer(Electrical) in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL), Lucknow in reference to Advertisement No. 3/VSA/2013 & appeared for online exam(CBT) held on 16th Nov., 2013, the result of which has been declared on 18- 12- 2013.
But No candidates of Electrical and Electronics engineering branch have been considered & shortlisted for the above post despite their eligibility. According to AICTE, Delhi High Court Judgment, UGC, UPSC,SSC & various other government organizations ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING branch is considered equivalent to ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.
Also in the recruitment 2011 for the post of Assistant Engineer(Electrical) in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL), Lucknow, ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING branch was considered equivalent to ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING and students were considered and finally selected for the same.
I request the public spirited Lawyers present on this group to kindly look into the matter and consider this as a case fit for PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION otherwise the aggrieved candidates will suffer irreparable loss. I am attaching herewith relevant documents including Delhi High Court Ruling that the two branches are same.
