Property record un available with City Survey

Dear Sir,

I am located in Navi Mumbai and parents staying in native place/

We have a piece of residential land in my mothers name in a village in Ahmednagar district. We have 7/12 and regularly paying the taxes. That property is purchased 25 years back.

One day the City Survey officers come to our home and told my parents that the propery record is not available in our records and this is goverment property now.

My parents showed them the 7/12 but the officer said that does not have the value. Your name is not in city survey record.

Can anyone please guide me the procedure to deal with this issue.

Thanks in advance.

First you apply for the property extract ( utar) of the  said .  If it is not available  then you search for the Mutation entry register, if you got it you will get the informaion in detail, how the property is acquired by your mother, then you can file an application to the concerned revenue department to enter your mother's name to the property.  Even you can do it without the mutation register extract, but to write an application it requires.
