Dear sirs,
One of my friend his wife and father in law have been named by his sis in law (Sale ki wife) under section 498A in FIR .
However my friend is not involved in any of these acts.
When he was due for promotion, he honestly informed his office about this problem hence his promotion is denied.
No court has even called him since last a year.
Can promotion be denied on the basis of FIR?
