Payment recovery from relative

Dear Sir

My Father give Rs-500000.00 by A/c payee cheque to a relative in 2008-2009. My father has been expired on

12,december,2009. above relative neither give interest nor principal amount. Above relative show same

amount  in his accounting books and I have given 15G every year for non deduction of TDS. I have given Last 

15g form in F.Y 2011-2012 and I have a photocopy of 15g  form with relative sign.

I want to know that can i recover  money through legal way ?

please advice for same.
