The first suit

Dear Sir,

I am a defendant in a civil case that is currently ongoing. The hearing took place today, and when I checked the case status afterward, I noticed the following updates: IA Pending, CMP Pending, CMA Pending, CRP Pending, and EA Pending.

I am not sure what these terms mean or what their status indicates for my case. Could someone please explain slope the meaning of these terms and what they generally indicate?

I have also attached a screenshot of the case status for reference.

IA is Interlocutory Application.

CMP is Civil Miscellaneous Petition.

CMA is Civil Miscellaneous Application.

CRP is Civil Revision Petition.

Looks like there are multiple applications pending in your case.

The case status ‘IA / EA PENDING / CMP PENDING/ CRP PENDING/ CMA PENDING’ indicates that your petition is pending before the presiding officer of the appropriate court.
