i want to take a new passport for my illitrate mother,,what all the documents i need to produce before i apply the passport?she is born in tamilnadu,and we need to take passport preferrably from kerala.is it possible?

In Tamilnadu only possible. ANNEXURE A affidavit is to be enclosed along with application for passport.

For obtaining passport certain rules regarding residence last stayed for more than one year continuously will be considered for the jurisdictional purpose, so how your mother is fitting into Keral address if she is from Tamilnadu. Annexure A to be attached with the passport for illiterates.
