Passport document query

Hello Passport/VISA lawyers and experts,

My mother wants to apply for a fresh passport and she is 53yrs old. She intends to get it with her new surname (as she is married).
Her birth and 10th grade certificate shows her old surname.

She currently does have the following docs. in support of her new name:
1) Adhaar card
2) PAN card
3) Voter ID
4) Running bank account (SBI)

She does not have the following docs.in support of her new name:
1) Marriage certificate

Can someone amongst you experts please advice me If she needs to get a new marriage certificate issued or Annexure-D will suffice the purpose?

Regards,

You will need the Marriage Certificate that authenticates her change of name .Procure the New Marriage Certificate and apply along with the old documents.

If and any discrepancy occurs or a query is raised, then you can produce the original , to the query officer. It should not be a problem even if u submit and affidavit declaring

change of name , along with your application for passport.
