Hello sir,
My father have been missing since 12 years but we did not file a missing complaint then as we are kids and mother was illiterate. He has land of 5 acres on his name.... We now require that property to be transferred to our mother..how could this be donw sir?

As you said your father is a single handed property owner and missing since 2008. First of all,who is in possession? Whoever in possession,even your brother,you go to your father's home and stay there and tally all your documents staying from childhood in the same house n all birth certificate, ration card,pan card,adhar card ,bank passbook etc must show your address as the same as your father.
Check up complaints details records from 2008 of missing complaints of your father made. Collect latest status of your missing complaint from police station.

You have no bother about your missing father and even a complaint is not filed even after you became a major. Now you want his property. Is there any document on his name for the property or is it ancestral?

Agreeing with these vies I will add that you have to file suit for declaration fo title.
