Legal actions against education loan defaulters?

I took an educational loan in 2007 for about 74000 INR. Unfortunately I couldn't get a job for 3-4 years and when I did get one the salary was not good enough. I could not repay my loan. A year ago I got a call from the bank and thay told me that I owe them over 2 lac rupees non payment of which will result in legal actions. I had to sell some of my stuff and I paid around 65000 INR. Thats all I could do and after a year now they have called me asking to pay 1 lac rupees immediately which I cannot. Bank manager is not helping and I want to know what actions can they take against me. Please let me know
