Lease agreement

Hi!

I just want to enter into a lease agreement with a lessor (who was in dubai) for a period of 2 years. I know both lessor and lessee have to sign the agreement. But he says he will send a scanned of the agreement.

My question is whether I can accept the scanned copy of the agreement. As a tenant I want to know whether it is necessary to get register the agreement and is it possible to do with the scanned copy?

Some experts pls help!
