Summary - We have a old Portuguese house in Goa . Its own by my father and his brother . Now they are planning to divide the rights .
Body -
A) Is Portuguese law ( Civil Code ) in Goa is still applicable for succession or inventory . In the code article 2029 is the above succession applicable .
B) If succession is done under article 2029 by moiety ( wife ) holder's than only brother who succeeds the moiety share
Or
1) Other cousins - eg: Husband's side .
2) Wife's ( moiety holders ) side - eg : successors .
