Forgery

Dear All

I bought a land whose title I got to know later is not clear. I sold the land to one Mr. A. with a small consideration and on condition that he shall clear the encumbrances and pay all interested parties their dues and after all settlement he shall give me 50% share in the sale price after deducting the expenses. I gave possession also. Now Mr. A got dishonest and forged a document that he has paid me for 50% and I have no stake in the property. I sent him notice to show the document but he did not reply. He presented the forged document in various cases with disputed owner even in bombay HC. I got certifief copies of those docs from HC.

Now what remedy I have. I am afraid that as he is influntial and affluent, he can manage police if I file complain to police for forgery of documents, he can manage. Can I file Writ Petition in Bombay High Court and what would be process there.

Please suggest me please.
