False dowry case

Sir/Madam,

i have query that one of my male friend got married one and half year back without any dowry as the girl belongs to a poor family. The girl is carrying now (6 months). Now the greedy parents of that girl seems to file a FIR regarding Dowry and DV act against them so as to grab a huge amount of money.My male friend lives separately and often visits his mothers home along with his wife. My query is that can they file a legal FIR and if so what are the measures we have to take to safeguard the reputation of my friends family.

Tell your friend to make an amicable solution with his wife , there is nothing in making litigation to many years of the life spoils in it , better set aside your ego sit together both the families and find out the solution if you feel difficulty then you can take help of your relatives from both side and root out the problem , tell him convince his wife and in laws and bring his wife back with him .
