Did not receive original docs from bank

Hi,

I have bought a property through DRT (Debts Recovery Tribunal) through online and registered the property on my wife's name. After that i have sold the same property for some others and the deal is over. In this transaction bank did not provide me the original documents of the property, so i could not able to give the same to buyer. Now the buyer is asking me to provide original documents to apply loan and reconstruct the building. When i contact bank's loan officer, he answered that the documents are lost and he is searching for them. Bank officer is telling the same story from past 6 months and no progress in his search. Now the question is how can i get the original documents from bank? If they are lost, what are the alternative options for getting the original documents.

Your answer will help me to get out of my problems. Thanks!

You may narrate all representations made so far by phone (mention phone numbers, date, time of call, name, designation, dept, name of bank, address), email, fax, in person and brief minutes of discussion……………………addressed to this servant of the bank with a copy to BM, Regional Manager, Circle Manager, Nodal Officer, MD, Chairman of the bank  and raise a question why and how the original documents are lost that are kept in safe custody of the bank, on which date these were lost and by whom, and demand certified copy of the  lost report filed by servant of the bank and certified copy (under original seal, signature, date of competent employee of the bank) of all communications exchanged between various depts. of the bank, legal opinion sought by bank, FIR filed by bank, and certified copy of the action taken by the officials of the bank in this lost documents.

If bank has not filed FIR press them to do so and supply you the certified copy.

The contact details should be available at the website of the bank.

You may also demand the action taken by the bank to recreate the documents so as to supply you the same by redg. Post., and seek compensation as per internal compensation policy of the bank.

You may issue a deadline.

You may mention that al such documents be supplied to you by redg. Post only and a postage prepaid self addressed envelope is attached for sending the docs and reply to you.

You have the option to send a gentle communication even if by email and ten file RTI to obtain all other replies and documents too and attach a postage prepaid self addressed envelope for sending the docs and reply to you.

You can send legal notice too and file consumer complaint in DCDRF.
