Dear Experts,

Kindly inform me that where to file complain Crpc u/s 144, before District Magistrate (Executive) or District Magistrate (Judicial), Please tell me how to distinguish between District Magistrate (Executive) & District Magistrate (Judicial).
 And who has power to grant bail and issue of warrant, can Police official have power to grant bail.

What is your consent with sec 144 of Criminal procedure code? It is an action to be taken by the Executive magistrate based on the urgency and circumstance.  Power to grant bail by police or magistrate depends upon the nature of alleged offence and FIR.
