I'm in the verge of getting divorced in next few month. My wedding was through a special marriage act. I'm a christian married to muslim. My son is 7 yrs old studying in 2nd std. When he was admitted to the school we gave the religion as Islam and also his name. After the divorce I would like to get his religion changed as well as name. how can I go about this? can I get the records changed at school level also? Do I have to face the consequences from my husband if I get his name and religion changed?
Please suggest me. Early the better.
