Cancellation of property registration

A Property in Navi Mumbai was registered after due payment of advance amount.

The buyer is not able to pay the balance amount now and is agreeable to cancel the registration.

1. What is the process of cancelling the registration.

2. What happens to the Registration & Stamp Duty paid.
