While joining govt service there is a column which asks whether you have been arrested by the police.
1.My friend had taken anticipatory bail 2 years ago in a case. The case is closed now. whether this should be mentioned in this column.
2. when someone is detained during demonstration, is this also technically arrest and should be mentioned?

1. Yes, your friend should mention the same along with release Order.
2. All Forms filled by applicant goes to Jurisdiction police to check antecedents of applicant and suppose if it then comes out then?

detention during demostration if shown in roznamcha of any thana is arrest. Generally they make no such entry.
