after pw1

daer friends,

in my divorce case, after pw1 cross of mine was there. i waited for 1 hour but respondents lawyer didn't turned up. now court has given next date for cross.

i have some doubts like

can i introduce some of proofs now because at pw1 i have introduced them in dvc case

my lawyer is saying that submitting proofs now means re-opening of case and the time will be wasted more, is it so?

i have filed divorce case because my husband is impotent, i wanted to file his potency test application also now, can I do so

if i can do, the court will take more time?

your advocate is correct.

1.  It will consume more time.

2.  It is with discretionary power of the court whether to allow new documents or not.  First you have to move application to place new documents and also have to show valid reason, why it has not been place earlier.  The court may also impose costs while allowing the application.

3. Your advocate also can properly advice by seeting the document of its importance and relevance to benefit your side of case.
