Who is responsible to paying the prof.tax in an organisation

In a firm  who is responsible for paying the profesional tax of all employees?? Employee himself or head of the organisation??

ie. for example in a XXX company the employees are not paid professional tax. The authority has any right to take action or fine against the firm.

Is there any liability towards the  head of Organisation to collect the PT of all employees and to pay in the concerned authority ???

If not paid, action may be taken. So,you have to ensure that the tax is paid without fail.

The Employer recover from the employee's salary like P.F.E.S.i, Contribution as per the slap of salary structure. And pay to the Local Authority once in 6 Months.

It is the Employer's Obligation to the Local Authority ie Govt. The delayed payment attract the Interest.
