📝 Essential Licenses & Registrations Fertilizer License (Form F) Issued under the Fertilizer (Control) Order, 1985 Required for manufacturing, selling, or distributing fertilizers including vermicompost Apply through the Agriculture Department of your state Trade License Issued by the local municipal authority Permits you to operate a commercial business legally GST Registration Mandatory if your annual turnover exceeds the threshold (₹20 lakh for most states) Enables you to collect and remit Goods and Services Tax Brand Registration / Trademark Register your brand name with the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks Protects your brand identity and prevents misuse Pollution Control Board Clearance Required if your manufacturing process involves waste management or emissions Apply to the State Pollution Control Board Factory License (if applicable) Needed if your unit qualifies as a factory under the Factories Act, 1948 Ensures compliance with labor and safety regulations
