voting on cooperative housing society resolutions

dear learned advocates

I would like to know if an adhoc member or coopted member of a managing committee of a cooperative housing society besides elected members has the right to vote on any resolutions in the managing committee and AGMs etc.

your quick response would be highly appreciated

That will be in the Bye-laws of society, if tha bye -laws provide for that then that is legal right

Why "an ad hoc or coopted member"? Please post the relevant facts.

For SC/ST you may give a reservation.  However, the coopted members will not have the right to vote in general.  but in your society's bylaws, if it is mentioned that the coopted members will have voting rights, then they will have.

As per Maharashtra apartment act the members co opted only place of retiring members can be members of the resident welfare association.

The co-opted member who has been choosen by the remaining committee members will have all the right as other members in RWA.

For this purpose you may consider the apartment and model bye laws in absence of any bye laws by the resident welfare association.
