Pending in aphc – matter not getting listed, next hearing unknown

I have a matter pending in the Andhra Pradesh High Court (APHC), but the matter is not getting listed, and consequently, the next hearing date remains unknown. As the petitioner, I would like to know if there are any remedies or procedural steps available to ensure that the matter is listed for hearing.

I would be grateful for guidance and suggestions from experienced practitioners on how to proceed in such situations.

Thank you.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the common issue of cases pending in the Andhra Pradesh High Court (APHC) not being listed for hearing, leaving petitioners uncertain about the next steps. Experienced practitioners suggest instructing your advocate to submit a request to the registrar for early listing or to file a formal petition for an early hearing to expedite the process.

You can ask your advocate to submit a request to the registrar with the details of the case to bring the case in the early list
