hello
my father has a residential property in delhi which he has bought from his income and now he wants to transfer his property to me without any consideration.my queries are:
1) WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFER OF PROPERTY?
2) IS GIFT DEED ATTRACTS STAMP DUTY?

if the property the is the self acquired property of your father, he can transfer the property to your name by executing a gift deed. Stamp duty will be 1000/- + registration fee.
