can a parking garage be sold to an outsider?
I have separate agreement for garage and wish to sell to an outsider.
Do society member have right of 1st purchase ?
When I put up the notice more than a year ago No society member matched my price .
Now after I finalised my deal with an outsider and I approached the society for NOC society is asking me to reveal the price and wants to allow members to match the price if not then I can sell to outsider .
But I have already finalised my deal and do not wish to go back on my word .
kindly advise as to what would be the right thing to do and wether society has a right to interfere like this .
In a society you need to adhere their rules. If you do not adhere the cooperative will be furthernore reluctant to discharge your NOC. The law also is in their favor.
