Will for bank accounts & jewels

Good afternoon sir, 

My name is M. Elavalagan  my father is written a unregistered will in name & in my younger brother name that all bank deposits & Jewels kept in locker should share equally after his life time my father is passed away now. But my father nominated all banks accounts & jewels kept in locker in joint account in my younger brother name. With the help of father's will can able to claim  bank deposits & Jewels kept in my fathers name.

Yes  you can claim bank deposits and jewelry kept in locker of bank on the basis of your father will but bank can ask court order for it from you .

If your brother was just a nominee then he can only receive the FD amount and the jewels from the locker and distribute the same to all the leal heirs of your deceased father.

However since your father has already made a Will distributing his movable assets, you can operate the Will and get your share in the property accordingly.

As per sec 45ZA of Banking Regulation Act nominee is only entitled to receive deposits  of deceased account holder but nominee is only custodian of received money & articles and not ower .Nominee has to distribute the money or articles to legal heirs of deceased account holder.you can claim the money and jewellery as per will of your father from your brother
